Software tester education

Software systems are omnipresent. Very often human life depends on the smoothly and reliably functioning of the programs, for example in medical technology. Professional software testing is becoming an increasingly important task, which requires a well-founded training. With the certification for the "ISTQB Certified Tester", iSQI makes an important contribution to the training and further education within this area.

Professional test procedure

The ISTQB Certified Tester program consists of several steps. The first one is being offered since October 2001 as a three-day or four-day training with an exam at the end. The trainings are being held exclusively by training companies, which have been accredited by the ISTQB member boards. The quality of the trainings is thus guaranteed.

The training of the basics deals with exercises, methods and techniques of software testing. The participants learn all steps of the software testing process, from the planning and specification to the conducting and monitoring of tests. Details about the syllabus can be downloaded.

The training finishes with an exam. If the exam is being passed, the qualification "ISTQB Certified Tester" Foundation Level is being certified by iSQI.
