The international Conference on Quality Engineering in Software Technology (CONQUEST) has been held annually since 1997. It has been the platform for software professionals bringing together the software engineering community to discuss software quality aspects, to see how quality engineering methods and techniques are used in both industry and science, to see the latest tools, to share experiences on projects and representative case studies and to hear about newest advancements. About 350 IT experts from industry and research from all over the world have participated in the conference every year. Two-thirds of them CEOs or in charge of personnel or budget, one third programmers, testers, architects. In 2007 they came from 28 different nations: Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Rumania, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Netherlands, Great Britain, Ukraine, USA.
