Social Event at the Mercedes World at Salzufer, Berlin
The Social Event will take place on the second conference day; on September 28th, 2006.
The Mercedes-World at Salzufer is the perfect location for our Social Event!
You will have the chance to get in touch with other conference attendees and speakers. We will provide a great buffet and a typical Berlin musical accompaniment. A bus shuttle service will be waiting to take you from the Ludwig Erhard Haus to the Mercedes-World!
The opening speech will be held by Heinz Paul Bonn, the Vice President of BITKOM and the Chairman of the Board of GUS Group AG & Co. KG.
During the evening you can wander the different levels at Mercedes-World. There is a Formula One Driving Simulator where you can go for a virtual drive. Those who like the thrill can tackle the climbing wall!
The Formula One Driving Simulator
This Driving Simulator is a chance for you to test your motor racing skills under Formula One conditions and experience the allure of the sport in the cockpit of the driving simulator. Just take a seat and prepare to navigate one of the most well-known and difficult courses in the world.
The indoor climbing wall
With a height of 17m, 70% overhang and a difficulty level of 8, the two indoor climbing walls present you a breath-taking experience! You will have the chance to tackle one of the two climbing walls, under the expert supervision of staff from the German Alpine Association, of course.

If you wish to bring another guest to our Social Event, you can book an additional ticket for 100 Euro. You just need to mark “additional ticket” in the registration form and provide the name of the person who will accompany you.
