SIGiST Israel (www.sigist.org.il) was founded in June 2000, by Mr. Alon Linetzki, Director of Testing Solutions & Training for the SELA Group, and SIGiST Israel Chair. The organization has today ~300 members in contact, out of which 110 are very active.

SIGiST had in the past meetings sponsored by leading companies like: RadView, Rational-IBM, and HP-Mercury.

Today, the organization is supported by the SELA Group (www.sela.co.il) and ITCB.

SIGIST Israel purpose is to create a place were testing professionals can meet, speak of challenges, and suggest or get a solution for them! It also aims to be the driving force for the recognition of testing as a profession in Israel, thus cooperating with ITCB (www.itcb.org.il) as a supporting organization.

SIGiST Israel is running the SIGiST Israel Year Conference at July 8-11, 2007, with over 20 interesting presentations, 8 tutorials, and 4 international speakers. This year it is followed by the ISTQB meeting in Israel. See more about SIGiST Israel at our www.sigist.org.il website.

The Austrian association for software quality management is a platform for people interested in software quality.
