Getting there:

By airplane:

The airports Berlin-Tegel, Berlin-Tempelhof and Schönefeld (next to Berlin) are 35 km away from the city centre of Potsdam. By taxi you are at any destination in Potsdam within 30-40 minutes. At Tegel you also have the possibility of taking the bus and the urban railway. Please use bus route number 109 from the airport Berlin-Tegel to Berlin-Charlottenburg. From the station Berlin-Charlottenburg the urban railway leaves in 10-minute intervals to Potsdam central station*.

By car:

From the north: coming down the motorway A 10, take the exit Potsdam-Nord and follow the B 273 to Potsdam. In the inner city turn left into Breite Straße toward central station. Turn the third street left again into Dortustraße. Turn right next street into Yorckstraße. The following street right into Sieferstraße which leads direct to Am Neuen Markt.

From the west: coming down the motorway A 2, take the exit Michendorf and follow the B 2 to Potsdam. Go Straight on and across the Lange Brücke Bridge. Turn left into Breite Straße, second street right into Dortustraße, next street right into Yorckstraße. The following street right into Sieferstraße which leads direct to Am Neuen Markt.
Or coming down the A 2, cross the interchange Drewitz and take the exit Potsdam-Babelsberg. Go straight on the Nuthestraße till the end. Turn left into Berliner Straße. Follow the main street which changes into Am Kanal. Cross the Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and go straight on into Yorckstraße (one-way street). Turn at the end of Yorckstraße and go back on the one-way street (Yorckstraße) into the direction you came from. The following street right into Sieferstraße which leads direct to Am Neuen Markt.

From the south:
coming down the motorway A 9, cross the interchange Potsdam and the interchange Drewitz, follow the motorway A 115 (Berliner Ring) and take the exit Potsdam-Babelsberg. Go straight on the Nuthstraße till the end. Turn left into Berliner Straße. Following the main street which changes into Am Kanal. Cross the Friedrich-Ebert Straße and go straight on into Yorckstraße (one-way street). Turn at the end of Yorckstraße and going back on the one-way street (Yorckstraße) into the direction you came from. The following street right into Sieferstraße which leads direct to Am Neuen Markt.


From the east: coming down the motorway A 12, cross the interchange Drewitz, follow the motorway A 115 (Berliner Ring) and take the exit Potsdam-Babelsberg. Go straight on the Nuthestraße till the end. Turn left into Berliner Straße. Follow the main street which changes into Am Kanal. Cross the Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and go straight on into Yorckstraße (one-way street). Turn at the end of Yorckstraße and go back on the one-way street (Yorckstraße) into the direction you came from. By train:

BusinessLink participants who come from the south, the west or the north of Germany reach the central station of Potsdam

  •  via Magdeburg, taking the IR/RE
  • via Hannover, taking the ICE to Berlin (Berlin Zoo) and from there the    urban railway no. 7 (direction: Potsdam)

BusinessLink participants who come from other directions reach Potsdam central station via Berlin or via airport Schönefeld, taking the RB/RE by German Railways or taking the urban railway no. 7

*Leaving at Potsdam central station, take the tram no. 92, 96, 93 or X98 towards the city center (two stops to “Alter Markt”). But even on foot it takes you only a few minutes to get from the central station to the destination.

Leaving at Babelsberg station, take tram no. 94 or the taxi.
