Safety and Security in Exponential Times - Quality Software needs Process Quality

ISO 15504 “SPICE” – industry practice today and in the future

We live in exponential times: the increase in complexity and the reduction in delivery cycles accelerates, yet demands on the quality, and especially the safety and security of products and services are higher than ever. The Open Forum allows technological and management aspects of these challenges to be addressed from product and process perspectives. The International SPICE Days presents practical experiences in using SPICE to safeguard or improve high levels of quality in software and systems development. The International SPICE Days are the exchange platform for practitioners. The International SPICE Days are open for all industry segments.

  • how to handle software architecture issues
  • variant handling in requirements management and beyond
  • how to conduct effective reviews, decisions, appraisals and product and process level

The Future of SPICE

  • developments in the standardization world
  • SPICE for industry domains or different disciplines
  • achieving higher levels of SPICE with agile and/or lean development
  • experience of SMEs in working with SPICE
  • enhancing SPICE assessments with perspectives from other standards, e. g. ISO 26262, ITIL
