On the occasion of the ISTQB meeting on March 18th, 2008 in Zurich (Switzerland), Rainer Grau, Member of the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB), and Stephan Goericke, Director International Software Quality Institute (iSQI), contractually agreed on an extended cooperation: Thus iSQI will be the certification body for the certification as IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering additionally in India, USA, the Netherlands and Israel for the next two years. iSQI will administer certification exams in English and German language.

Goericke stated: „I regard this agreement as a token of appreciation for our work. And I thank IREB for the confidence they have shown us. For our clients the extended cooperation means added service, since we may now render our qualification services all-inclusively worldwide. Regarding the market launch of QAMP®, the agreement enables additional countries to offer their clients QAMP® and the recognized certifications. And by this extension the position of IREB as international RE scheme is again strengthened."
