The International Software Quality Institute (iSQI) has strengthened its market leadership in certifying software testers according to the international standard “ISTQB Certified Tester” in Germany in the first quarter of 2007.
In the first quarter of this year, iSQI developed its market share of examinations in the Advanced Level up to 100 %. In the Foundation Level iSQI increased its market share by 3.3 %. With this, iSQI reaches a market share of 85 % in the Foundation Level.
The German Testing Board (GTB e.V.) reported 486 examinations in the Foundation Level and 220 examinations in the Advanced Level for the first quarter of 2007.
iSQI is authorized by the GTB as exclusive certification body for all written exams in Germany.
The vocational training standard “ISTQB Certified Tester” is a platform and company independent certification scheme for software testers that is established in more than 30 countries on five continents.
