The European Organization for Quality, EOQ, is an independent not-for-profit organization that has been founded as early as 1956. Not only 34 national quality organizations but also institutions, enterprises and specialists from all over the world are committed to an improvement of quality management within the EOQ. Along with the rapidly increasing dependence of human beings on software in almost any aspect of life, the demands to the quality of this software are also increasing. The members of EOQ, Software Group, have therefore committed themselves to an improvement of standards in the areas of software process improvement and software quality management.
