At the motorway junction Oranienburg take the A111 to Berlin Zentrum, and at the motorway junction Charlottenburg turn onto the A 100. Leave at the Kaiserdamm exit, and turn left at the end of the slip road to turn onto the Kaiserdamm boulevard (later Bismarckstraße). Continue until the traffic island (Ernst-Reuter-Platz) and turn right into Hardenbergstraße. Leave Hardenbergstraße, turn right into Fasanenstraße and the Ludwig Erhard Haus is on your left.

Take the motorway A10 (Berliner Ring) to the Drewitz motorway junction, then the AVUS (A 115) to Berlin-Zentrum. At the Funkturm follow the signs to Wedding, but then take the first exit to Kaiserdamm. Turn left at the end of the slip road to turn onto the Kaiserdamm boulevard (later Bismarckstraße). Continue until the traffic island (Ernst-Reuter-Platz) and turn right into Hardenbergstraße. Leave Hardenbergstraße, turn right into Fasanenstraße and the Ludwig Erhard Haus is on your left.
The Ludwig Erhard Haus is only a five minute walk from the Zoologischer Garten railway station. If you arrive at a different station you can take the S-Bahn as described above.
- Tegel: Take the airport shuttle bus (X9) to Zoologischer Garten (about 15 minutes) or take a taxi (about 10 minutes).
- Schönefeld: This is across the city, so a taxi is expensive. Take a 171 bus to S-Bahnhof Schönefeld, then take a regional train or S-Bahn (Line 9 for Westkreuz) to Zoologischer Garten. From there you can walk down Hardenbergstraße (five minutes) or take a bus (145, 245, or X9). (Or you can stop a taxi and take a fixed rate short ride). As an alternative you can also go to the underground station Rudow (by bus), and from there take the Line 7 (destination Spandau) to Möckernbrücke, then change onto the Line 2 (destination Ruhleben or Olympiastadion) and travel through to Zoologischer Garten. Both options take about an hour.
- Tempelhof: This city airport is fairly convenient. Take a 119 bus to Wittenberg-Platz, then take the underground U-Bahn Line 2 (destination Ruhleben or Olympiastadion) and travel through to Zoologischer Garten. Takes about 30 minutes.
