EuroSPI² and CONQUEST will be held as partner conferences at the Hasso Plattner Institute and at the University of Potsdam.

EuroSPI²

EuroSPI's mission is to develop an experience and knowledge exchange platform for Europe where SPI practices can be discussed and exchanged and knowledge can be gathered and shared. This mission is implemented by four major action lines:

1. An annual EuroSPI conference supported by Software Process Improvement Networks from different EU countries.
2. Establishing an Internet based knowledge library, newsletters, and a set of proceedings and recommended books.
3. Establishing an effective team of national representatives (in future from each EU country) growing step by step into more countries of Europe.
4. Establishing a European Qualification Framework for a pool of professions related with SPI and management. This is supported by European certificates and exam systems.

In 2007 the EuroSPI² is emphasizing "Success Factors with SPI in a Global Competitive Environment - New Research, Methods and Experiences."

The conference takes place at the University of Potsdam, acting as the host of EuroSPI² 2007. Potsdam as a close city to Berlin has always been an important business place and in 1991 a university has been founded, being now the largest university of the state of Brandenburg in Germany.

The EuroSPI² and CONQUEST Congress

EuroSPI attendees can book a congress ticket. For only 100 Euro more cost, you can attend two conferences at the same time. There is MMMs (More Quality, More Content, More Networking). Both conferences are organizsed on the same square in two neighbouring buildings of the University of Potsdam. CONQUEST 2007 runs in parallel at the Hasso Plattner Institute.
