SPiCE (Software Process Improvement Capability dEtermination) is the name of a project that developed the international standard ISO/IEC TR 15504 (Software Process Assessment). The standard ISO/IEC TR 15504 provides a framework for all aspects of a process assessment that can be used to evaluate the capability of your organisation's processes. The framework sets out the requirements for performance of a conformant assessment which include requirements to the competency of the assessors.
